Cambridge Timeline Choir celebrate the East of England in song, in a musical journey into fenland folklore, taking in a cheeky look at married life from a young Essex girl’s point of view, ghost stories and cautionary tales from the deep dark fens, favourite songs of the poet John Clare, the sad tale of a cabin boy from St James’ Workhouse, local songs protesting the draining of the fens and land enclosure, and a good swig of Nelson’s Blood to warm the cockles of your heart!
