Joined by soloists Susannah Austin and Lisa J Coates, Leith Hill Timeline Choir choir will sing music from the time of the Angevin Kings, folk songs telling stories of history’s greatest tyrants, King John and King Herod, and Christmas carols extolling the virtues of peace, benevolence and justice. These will be interspersed with Stef Conner’s new choral arrangements of well-known protest songs that champion humankind’s hard-won freedoms. They will also perform a short excerpt from the 16^th century mystery play, The Shearmen and Tailors’ Pageant, which includes the ‘Coventry Carol’.
